 This idea came to me a work. I was doing some mundane work and thinking of an idea for "Lucky" when I glanced down and saw 'Fred', my pen holder sitting on my desk. I decided straight away I was going to use him for "Unlucky" so I threw him in my bag and brought him home with me. The idea just formed from there.

The green mat is my roll up golf practise green and the number / line markings are paper cut out.

The lighting was 2 SB-R200 Speedlights sat on top of some jars and pointed down at Fred from equal distances diagonally behind to give the impression of stadium lighting, no front lighting was used to give the shadows.

I wasn't able to setup my tripod in a good position for this so I ended up down on my elbows to get the right angle.

Haha those pencil-holder guys are so groovy! This is funny, might've been a bit better if it wasn't so obvious that it's a pencil.
