The top of an old railroad bridge across the stream. It has gears on the bottom so I think it rotated.

I think I prefer the sky color in the original - it's taken on more of an aqua than a "sky" blue in the edited version.

I like the unusual perspective

I like how you brought out the details. Gives the viewer a little more to inspect.

Nice contrast between the organic shapes and the geometry of the bridge structure.

Good job opening up the details in the shadows (e.g. on the tree trunk); it does shift the sky color a lot though ...

Like the shadows and highlights Ken. A very subtle change to the processing that gives the image a new lease of life. Great angles from the POV you've chosen.

excellent image ken .. the trees and the man made structure form brilliant shapes and patterns .. great how you've brought out the darker details ..
i found it interesting reading how you searched for something, anything worth editing .. i think that as we improve as photographers and look back on the photographs we took a couple of years ago .. well .. we've raised the bar .. it stands to reason that when we see those photographs we see them with 'fresh' and more discerning eyes ..
yesterday when i revisted my old stuff i felt that i could delete entire folders, with months of photographs in each one .. but didnt just in case .. lol ..
i couldnt do a straight one for my first week coz i reckon just about all my old stuff stinks .. which is why i combined those four .. and i think that's why i keep very ordinary photographs in case they work when combined with something else .. :)
anyway .. i'll look forward to seeing your weekly images from the past .. :)
