I think the "2nd again" would have worked better of you had the entire second place horse in the picture and had cut off the nose of the winner...but I don't know that for sure unless I could see it. Right now, it is a picture of the winner, not the second place horse.

But otherwise, the assortment of colors, the focus, the light on the horses' coats, etc. is really well done.

Very nice capture. But with a different title aluding to the first horse, this could just as easily be entered in the lucky challenge, so it doesn't say unlucky to me.

It's a bit too generic to this challenge... you could have titled it around first horse, then there would be nothing unlucky about it.

Fantastic shot, I love the focus, DOF, colours and especially the shine on the horses plus great framing.
Now I reckon this is a bit of a shoehorn but I like so much I'm giving you a high score and making it a favourite.
