Nice abstract. Your use of shallow depth of field is effective here. |

Not enough depth of field. There is blurring int he foreground and background. Great composition - I really like the idea and "feel" of the image. |

Interesting .... but I confess, I have no idea what this is. |

Couldn't work out what this was for a long time, but then I think its a load of stars. No idea what the significance of them might be though.
Would have liked a much greater depth of field, the focus drops off too rapidly for me with just the middle third really viewable. |

I'm sure this means something, and the narrow DOF has a point, but you've completely lost me. |

I gave this a five. It's an interesting abstract but a lot of the details are blurred out because of really shallow depth of field. I have no idea what it is so the title is baffling to me. A new generation of what? |

the perfect idea! I went to check out the WWII memorial website and none of their pictures of the wall convey th feeling this does. I like your use of DOF, and the way the stars curve and how you've framed them works wonderfully. 9 |

I'm having a little trouble delineating the generations here, but it is an interesting image. Expect the limited dof is intentional. Wonder what it would have looked like with everything in focus. Probably would have lost your message tho... |

Nice use of DOF. Lighting looks a bit harsh on portions of the stars. |

This is quite abstract. I like the color combo of the yellowish white and the blue. I dont know if it's stars or a tread on a wheel or something completely different. The in-focus section has good clarity. I'm a big fan of shallow dof but not sure I see the benefit of having it so shallow in this shot. |

Without the title, I wouldn't know these were stars. Even now, I'm not quite sure what I'm looking at. As an abstract though it's quite interesting. |
