Great image, I really enjoy the colors. The look and feel of the image reminds me of thinking to the a past experience or relationship.
cheers,

Interesting acidic take on a simple subject. Good work.

Love the composition, the shadow helps balance the image and the gull finishes this off nicely. I guess I'm in a (very small) minority as imho the colour doesn't help the overall feel of the image though can't think of anything better other than maybe B&W.

The color was somewhat of a bold move, IMO, yet it really works here. I can't wait to see what else you do with that lensbaby, it was made for your style.

My eyes and thoughts are drawn to the water in the foreground. Very mysterious. Nice!!

I like the cyanotype blue tone. I wonder what impact it would have if you cropped the photo so that the reeds were more in the lower-left portion of the shot, though.

i came across a lonely lake
with but a sandy shore
and then I saw that tuft of grass
it shook me to the core

how could it make its roots stay strong
while rippling in the wind
how could it be so all alone
without a single friend

I watched its bleak reflection
a solitary dance
perhaps my passing there that day
was more than happenstance

it gave me pause to watch it there
alive against the odds
it gave me hope symbolically
my twilight with the gods

darkness fell and as I stood
the scene became quite clear
the grass and I were just the same
alone, we'd persevere

Nice processing, excellent colors. I like the blur efect, but I would still like to see the main object in focus.

Soft and dreamy! I like the colors here. Perhaps the bird(?) shouldn't be in it.

Lisa! I LOVE IT! It has an urban acid look to it, which compliments it beautifully!

Wonderful slice of your getaway location and a Lensbaby shot, no less! The bird looks so small - that fascinates me for some reason.

I hear string music looking at this. It's strangely emotive. I like it.

Lovely color first and foremost. I love how the patch of grass seems to be reaching up toward the gull flying by, as if it wants to fly away too but can't because of the two reeds on either side holding it in the water...

I'm not normally a fan of lensbaby shots, but this turned out very nicely. Love the simplicity and the ripples.

Very impressionistic, very artistic. The color rules imo. Two elements that I like are the water ripples and also the two diagonal blades of grass, one on each side of the clump, that bend down into the water and really create an anchored feel to the whole composition. I could see this on your wall!
