 Going for the whole cheesy glamour ring flash thing. This is actually a REALLY cool 5 foot round home-made ring with a lot of spot lights. I am still surprised this thing runs without blowing the fuse..... and with 1/2 dozen 6 power strips on the back running thru a single chord, it's a fire waiting to happen :-)

Corrected for the colour cast from incandescent bulbs and some sat on the green/blue channels with a nice heavy vignette around the centre.

I like this one, so no doubt it will get whacked... Hoping for better then my usual 4.2-5.2 on this one though :-/

I'm with the others, no idea why this didn't score a lot better, I would have been super disappointed to get a 6 for this!

I'm betting it was the "rule of thirds" crowd, or perhaps people thought the ring in the eyes was down to processing rather than what sounds like a really interesting light setup!

I like the tone and the hipness of this shot. The colours work and the lighting is very well done (maybe a little flat) but still a strong effort

I like this shot a lot and would have given it a 9, really cute, spunky girl, and I love the green motif. Can't really think we it didn't score a lot higher except that the top part of the image doesn't add much to the composition, I would probably prefer the shot more focused on the girl with less space around. Doesn't look over-exposed to me but i know nothing of glamour shots

Cool shot Rob! How are things? Pretty girl but it seems a bit oo much light. perhaps an adjustment on the exposure. Congrats on the personal best!

Hmmm, I have sat here for 10 minutes trying to figure why this didn't score higher? The only thing i can think of might be the focal point isn't spot on the eyes? Anyways this is a very nice shot
