Nothing is in focus, making it hard to understand what the opposites are.
Focus/Out of focus? Light/dark?
With refinement, this will be a neat shot! |

Colors are interesting, but the image is so out of focus and so dark that I don't find it attractive, sorry. |

An interesting composition of lights - very soft and I'm not sure if that's intentional. The blacks are very dark, which highlights the theme of the challenge well. The colors are super - rich and luminous. I like the different directions going on - the arrow, and then all the upright signs. |

No focus. Don't know if you were going for an out of focus shot, but I would imagine a clear well focused shot would have so much more impact.

i guess the 'opposite' theme is bright/night?
i really like the image. its so out of focus, it kind of breaks the rules, but i think it works for this. makes me feel like i'm in the middle of the rush. |

Either camera jiggle or out of focus either way it is unpleasing. |

this is not bocused well at all. |

This picture could use a little better focus to begin with, and I'm not sure how it fits the challenge. |

The focus looks soft or blurred. It kind of hurts my eyes. |

very blurry, maybe purposeful? It seems very busy, lacking any strong focal point. sorry, but I can't see the connection to opposites. |

Very soft image and appears grainy on my monitor. |

I like the idea, but here it just doesn't seem to be working very well. IMHO there're way too many objects/lights in this picture. As a result your eyes just keep darting from one place to another. There's nothing to grab your attention for a longer time |

Blurry, tripod would have helped but I guess they aren't always available. |

Either more focus of more blurring is needed here. As it is it looks like you missed the shot rather than chose to shoot soft. |

Good idea, I would score it much higher if it were not blurry |

I'm not sure how this image relates to the challenge. It is a little too cluttered and blurry for me. The idea is good though - worth another try. |

I don't see anything in focus or how it fits this challenge. 2 |

Very good colour and composition. Is it out of focus on purpose? Pretty daring to enter such an out of focus image. Despite that, I still like it. 6 |

This shot is a bit blurry. Was this a handheld shot?
I can imagine it likely being difficult to setup on a busy looking street like this. I have read some posts about a Uni-pod that could help out with shots like this. I would have scored this better if things were in better focus. |

Not sure if you intended this to be blurry or not, but it is quite distracting ... |

Looks like this was a handheld shot. Interesting idea, but tough to pull off at night. I'd use a tripod, monopod, or look for a handy mailbox! Stabilizing the image would really help with the composition. |

The composition of this picture seems okay and the colors seem okay, Even though the idea might be to show the difference between light and dark, the picture is far too overexposed for my likine.
A 4. |

I like this one, but I have a feeling it will get comments of "opposites????" and "out of focus". But it really catches my eye and keeps me interested. |

Interesting pic, I actually like it. I think you might get hammered for the soft, dark, weak focus things but like I said I like it. |

Out of focus to no good effect. Too bad, I almost think I see a subject there. |
