this is a really good idea, next time i think you need a little more exposure on the man in the chair and move or crop the light reflecting in the window, it distracts the viewers eyes away from the subject. |

Nice concept, however overexposed the right side because of the slow shutter speed. 6 Jacko. Might want to consider a softer light next time. |

Nice, but the photo is way blown out (hard to see) and the ghost is a tad to faint IMO. On the other hand, the challenge was well met, so you get at least a 7. Swash |

with a little less light and a slightly longer shutter speed this gentleman's face might be just a tad more distinct. like the reclections in the window and the framed photo, details really round it out. nice. |

that frame is way too bright, good idea though |

Photostand is too bright but this picture definitely gets a reaction of sadness. I think a more comfortable looking "favourite armchair" would add to this. |

I like the shot and the idea a lot and the orange colors .... BUT ... the frame is too bright, really even if yuou wanted to focus on it ... and I think the reflections in the window are distracting from the main purpose of the picture. I would be you I would work on it, redo the shot maybe and to my taste you would get a very good picture. 5 as it is, potential 8 to me. I hope this help, I think this is an idea worth to work on again. Bumped it to 6 to encourage you. Lionel |

Almost, but not quite there. I understand the difficulty you had with the lighting. This is worth trying again. |

Kinda overexposed, and the 'ghost' could have been stronger. |

Unfortunate that the light is so bright in this one. Comes close to being a terrific entry in this challenge. |

Nice Idea. The over ex is disturbing and takes away from the subject in my opinion. A softer light would've done the tick! :o) |

Good try! Too much light over the right side! Good luck Richi |

The setup suggests a story behind the the picture, with overexposing the picture frame on the left leaving the viewer to wonder. However the eyes are quickly drawn towards to the lamp in the reflection of the window and the ghost is quickly forgotten. |

I would've made the ghost just a little bit more exposed. The photograph on the table is burned out. Looks like a little less light and a little more exposure time would've made this shot much better. Good Luck - Inspzil |

I think you should have used a dimmer light for such a long exposure. byetko. |

I really like this shot. Definately meets the challenge. Has a very eerie quality about it. |
