Additional comments from "The Best of 2008 Posthumous Open":
undieyatch Elongated elliptical pathway as pedestal - fabulous composition.
Kali Smart shooting from the warmth of your home.
ubique A lightness of touch that I admire, and a strange sense of balance as they negotiate the great grey ellipse, as if it might slip or topple beneath them. For reasons that I cannot explain, I enjoy the fact that the dog is rendered more certainly than the person. I think the picture was always about the dog.
posthumous Yes, this reminds me of Fauvism for some reason. It's like a savage minimalism. I would have called it "The Lensbaby That Ate Levittown"
Iraklis I quite like this even though I am still on the fence about lensbaby, but that's just me.
It's like a memory one is struggling to define and hold on to. Makes me feel nostalgic.
chromeydome At first I thought I wished the dog and walker were a bit more in the sweet spot--kneejerk reaction, that. Spending a little time with this caused me to realize I was wrong, and you were right all along.
Bebe Wow. This is amazingly good. I figured this was a lensbaby, and then the comments affirmed it. It really makes me glad that lens exists.
digifotojo Nice abstract visual. This is what creative photography is all about. Well done.
Les_Feck A baseball diamond, that is what I keep seeing and sensing. Rightly or wrongly.
BAMartin This is the type of photo that makes me lust for a Lensbaby. Wonderful image.
Bear_Music I remember this one from the Lensbaby thread. It's an exquisite image.

I like it that the dog is in the sweet spot and the owner is walking out of it. Great ab&w. |

Fantastic, Erin! This has a wonderful mood about it. I'm thinking I need to try a shot without a sweet spot. This really rocks! :o) |

Another wonderful shot. You have such an ability to see things that work for the LB. I'm a little embarrassed falling all over your images. |

Wonderful Erin!
Pausing for a moment, I am wondering how well this image would score in a FS? I love this and think its another work of 'art' from you but (and whilst this year I'm not bothered about the dpc vote) would it be seen as art or a blurry oof image by the masses? |

The problem with my friend Az is that he has such damn fine artistic sensibility. He doesn't throw it about freely either, so I'd lap it up if I were thee. |

Tilt-A-Licious! Don't you love when a little angle brings total harmony to a scene...? Once you get the DPC Anti-Tilt, Anti-Noise etc. Nazis out of your head really nice things begin to happen. Free at least...Hallelujah!
