Now, here is where motion blur REALLY WORKS! The tilt adds just the right compositional touch and the desat accents the blur directly to your subject's...UMMMMM...to what could only be called the typical male's happy perspective! Well done! |

I love candids, and this one makes me giggle. Maybe it was from your hip, but it looks like you got what you wanted in focus ;) |

Did you say this was shot from the hip or AT her hips? Perhaps both. :) This would be impossible with the LB 2.0. :(
Great job on this! |

Very cool! I think the selective desaturated works in this shot, kind of a reinforcement of where the lens was drawing your attention. |

You really captured some energy here, Andi, and directed our eyes just where you wanted them to go. |

Great shot, Andi. I actually feel like I'm right there in the crowd. I know what you mean about candids... |

I'm diggin' the perspective on this one. I love shooting from the hip. Haven't tried it with my LB yet though.
By the way, when did you have time to take this with all the great commenting you have been doing? |

I really like this kind of street shot, Andi, probably because no one is recognizable. The tilt adds so much to the candid nature of the image, and while I am not much of a selective desat person it works PERFECTLY here for me! |

A little bustle and a little whoosh. The sense of being in the middle of the action is something I enjoy shooting for and you've accomplished it very well here. Selective desat...eh, well, I'll go against the grain and say I never saw the point in it. Unless of course, the viewer has a disability and they need a little extra help figuring things out. Which could be said for me, of course but still I prefer slugging it out on my own. Cheers! |

Now just how do you focus a LB from the hip? My eyes are drawn to the center. Not sure why, but they are. |
