Right picture, wrong challenge. Too somber for "Life", IMO. A spectacular image nonetheless. |

It always bugs me when people in the crosswalk stand close to the street. Just like this guy is to the river. Why do they do that? Anyway, The photo is great but the edit, to me, gives it a non-photographic look to it. More like a painting. I'm still going fairly high with an 8. |

Very interesting image. The hooded figure is relatively genderless and featureless, which leaves everything open to the imagination. I just have to wonder what's being contemplated. Could be a lost love or a hopeless life or thinking through a problem or just trying to remember what to get at the store. Love the composition and the darkness of the bridge, its reflection, and our subject. The timeless tones. And the brooding sky and the interesting architecture if I let my eyes wander around. Great image. |

A great shot... it's quite similar to one of my outtakes in its form, and the bridge!
I like this shot as you've obviously worked with the editing rules.... although it does have a bit too much processing done to it though imo.
I like the solitude of the shot, the arc of the bridge and the architecture in the background. |

The grungy processing works for your subject & title, and I like the DOF. I predict a high score for you ... |

This si I assume HDRI. The tone mapping is a little harsh but the subject good |
