 phase3 and I stopped at Rockledge Gardens and took some photos of the flowers there. It was very windy so we didn't end up with much. For some reason I liked this one. It's almost abstract, so I am a little reluctant to enter it, but I am trying new things lately. :)

I bumped up the color some, sharpened a little and cropped.

This is so different for you. I like it. Very artsy and very underrated. But hey, at least it stayed in the mid-high fives and not the dreaded fours. I love the background because it gives an illusion of moving or large brush strokes of a painting which causes the flower to stand out more. Keep on trying different things.

The blurred background give it a feel that the flower is cruising along pretty fast: nice!

A good abstract and beautiful colours. Some fantastic bokeh, but I think the focus is not quite there on the flower as a whole.
