Just wondering if I would have noticed it had it not been for the little antennae sticking up... Very well captured, good find too!

Nicely camoflauged, but I wish the straw was not so disorderly. Yeah I know, It's dried grass, what are you going to do, but it would still be nice if it added to the composition instead of taking from it.

Ordinarily I would give a shot like this a lower score. I decided to look at it from the point of view as a nature documentation. What better way to illustrate the creature's camaflauge than to place it in drab surroundings. I think it could benefit from tighter cropping. I gave it a six.

Nice shot! Lucky how the grasshopper (or whatever this is) stayed put while you took the photo. Nice focus and lghting. Only thing I would have done is crop some of the dirt off the bottom.

Maybe to much camo. I like the texture, tone, and color of the grass. Might have tried a closer crop if I could get away with it.

Good thing you had the title. Took me some time to find it anyway. Not sure he(?) makes a good picture but marks up for orginality / good find.

Unfortunatly, the camoflauge that you refer to works against you in this instance IMHO... I can see many people not taking the time to see what is really there. If you don't see it, it is an uninteresting snap... If you do see it, it is an interesting snap. Not much for staying power though...

The camouflage is almost too good. It took a few moments to find this guy.
