DOF is a killer but the shot is a winner! |

Very cute and good use of natural framing. The expression on the foremost dog is kind of a mix between curious and sadness. I like the depth of field with the two dogs filling up the 'space' between the fence posts. And the color combo of white/green is good too. I like it! |

These dogs are co cute! They remind me of my sister's dogs. I really like the green fence as a frame for their faces. The bottom looks like the camera was not level when this was shot but the left side vertical portion looks truly vertical so I guess we can chalk it up to fence craftsmanship not photographer error. :) Exposure looks good, focus is a bit soft but I really love the application of DOF to blur the background doggie. Good job!

Really good composition..almost abstract with it`s limited colour and strong geometric design.
Good work |

Boy, were at the right place at the right time. It would have been nice to have the puppy in the back a little more focused, but a great shot. |

Ridiculously cute!!!! I love the expression, colors, composition, focus and interest! Great shot. It'd be perfect if the fence were completely straight or both of the planks were 100% parallel. But that's not your doing. From a technical standpoint, it's a great shot! |

How cute! Definitely a high placer...only criticism: a little more DOF would have been appropriate (just a drop)...also the verticals on the wood could have been alligned better either with a shift lens or with a slight tilt of the camera. |

Wonderful feeling! Perfect exposure and great catchlight in the closer dog's eyes. The only problem I see with it is that the rear dog should be kess sharp - or not there at all. The merger of the closer dog's head with the same colors in the rear dog detract just a bit, Having said that - it's still VERY high in this challenge. |

My girlfriends' told me I have to give this one a high score, she thinks it's cute!
I agree though, very nice shot, great DOF, good seeing the other dog in the background, it's as if it's wanting to look too but the other one is getting in the way. |

Love the color contrasts and the amusing expressions on the faces of the dogs. Nicely done. Expect you tried the composition with both dogs in focus as well, and decided on this one. In any event, it is an appealing image. |

Just cute..the color the composition the crop the subjects all very pleasing. Love it. Hope you get a ribbon.
Could of used a bit more focus, and it's a bit tilted..... but I'll take it!!
Good shot. Fun work made me smile. |

great use of natural framing and a wonderful way to bring in interesting color. excellent expression on 1st dog's face -- sad to say second dog detracts from the shot for me. |

I think you should crop it to omit the fuzzy dog in the background and really focus on the foremost dog. Love the green and white. |
