Just some wholesome ingredients. I tried to make it rustic looking by using an orange background.

WOW WOW WOW! I am doing the cabbage patch dance!

I agreed with all of you on the glass. I dont even know why I put it in there. I think I thought it needed height but like another poster said "something doesnt fit right" and another who said it already had the height with the basket. I did end up having to crop it more then I wanted to and this caused it to look weird. This is why I was going to pull this picture at the last minute but then left it in. Im still learning but I am very very happy to wake up to this. Thank you everyone!

Congrats Agnes!!! just saw this. Beautifully lit, colors go together very well.IMO having the glass there is great, helps in the composition and gives te entire shot more breathing space and allows te viewer look for more details.
my only comment for improvement was maybe using an egg basket without the handle, this would then allow you to have a different crop and go without the glass.

Are you having a great week or what!! Two personal bests in a row - by a wide margin - AND a ribbon!! Very cool! This is expertly lit and very well arranged. Great work - congrats!!

Congratulations on the PB and a very first challenge ribbon :)
This shot is very well put together. I like the warm inviting orange background. Maybe the pouring of the milk seems somewhat out of place, but that's my only nitpick.

if the glass was just full instead of being poured (and I realize you probably spent some time getting it right too) I would like this more. Something about it just doesn't fit.

Nice tones and textures. Don't know that you need the wine glass element; you have height with the basket handle.

rather baking than cooking, but a good stock shot, though. nice lighting (except for the reflections on the glass) and color. the stream of milk into the glass doesn't add to the shot IMO.

This is a very nice photo. The wine glass for the milk seems misplaced for a product shot. A nice canning jar - or somthing more "wholesome" would have solidified the shot. Nice job.

Beautiful setup, though I might have done without the glass. It looks bent and gets a bit lost in the background. An old tin scoop for the flour would have completed the image.

Nice action in the glass. Nice use of soft color.

Elements of cooking, would have been better to use a jug instead of a wine glass for the milk.

very clean and screams baking. the milk in a wine glass seems to be odd however. is it for drinking or baking? would it look better in a measuring jug?
