the face portrait is quite nice and there is a rather sombre look about the lad. His hair is rather dark and gets lost in the dark background but very nice other than that.

The exposure/lighting and pose are all good. Ideally having a hairlight to give the top of his head some form instead of blending into the background could have been good but then it wouldnt be very candid. Not a bad portrait.

The background feels like too much contrast to me - too heavy. Nice candid expression - this has a very natural feel to it.

A very nice portrait and beautiful skin tones you have a very handsome little boy there Great focus crisp and clean nice lighting if this is your very first portrait I think you have done amazingly well 8

Colors and exposure seems to be off. Perhaps a little levels or curves would of helped.
