Love the composition Robt and for me this is a great shot of a gull. Ok, I noticed the nice wood but me being me didn't twig about it mirroring the gull ;) |

I claim that I would have seen it without your help, though I am lying:) A cool shot regardless of the mirroring and I like the b&w treatment. |

I noticed. ...ok not until after I read your note, but hey, you didn't even give me a chance! :) |

this could be a fossil of a seagull. |

My brain tells me that this must be a seagull, but it's such an oddly frozen moment that I keep staring at it, imagining it to be, well, all sorts of things other than a seagull. |

This is a very cool shot. I just noticed that the BG is water. And the bench is floating on it. And the bird almost looks like a strange sea creature that is about to land on the bench. Wonderful. |

You are having fun with this! It shows, you know. This is such an odd frozen moment too; one that we don't really see in the flesh. |

I love this shot. It has an other worldy feel to it.
I keep watching the LB thread and drooling (my wife is currently shopping for a plastic cover for my keyboard). When the LB's first came out, so many years ago, I kind of dismissed them as a toy. But, after seeing some of the work done with them I realized they could be an interesting tool. After seeing the images in the LB thread I realize they can be a fantasic tool of expression.

very interesting - you've got the bird in flight, but (to me) more motion would be implied if the bird were more in focus and the bench were blurred. |
