I love such an informal treatment of a formal scene. I especially like the sweet spot centered (on what appears to be) a broken facade of a raised bed and upon the only broken branch of the otherwise perfectly espaliered trees.
The fact that all lines lead to the focus point makes me think there must be a story there. Maybe both the broken branch and facade were simply the act of temporary insanity, or perhaps the gardener was peering over the fence into the neighbor's yard when he lost control of his pruning sheers.
This photo makes me want to know more, and for me it is the best kind of photo. |

Unlike ubique I think would look quite bland with a 'proper' lens even with the great colours but am happy to be proven wrong Karen (btw, this isn't weird at all lol) |

I would call this one "Crop Circle in the Courtyard" but "- - - -" works just as well. :) |

I get the feeling I'm looking through a peephole. |

For some reason I find this to have a dizzying effect to it. It seems to move in frnt of my eyes, yet the scene itself is so static. I like it. |

I like how a photo makes you see something else even though you know that's not what it is. I immediately thought of a basketball net. Just the weaving criss cross diamond shapes in the background. :~) |

The toning that you do works so well on so many of your images. It's not really sepia; there's more of a pinkish hue to it. Adds a hint of romance. |

This is quite lovely. Sacrilege to say this here, but I would love to see a non-LB photograph of this. Got one? Or is your LB now rusted on, like mine. |
