 This is me in my office pretending to work. I'm not expecting a great score, probably mid-5's, but thought I'd try entering something with my point-and-shoot for a change. I didn't have a tripod so I just held the camera with my right-hand.

Cropped, cloned out some light glints, resized, sharpened, applied noise-reduction.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I anticipated that the casual shirt would knock the scores further down. (I'm in academia and work with physicists, so I could easily get by with shorts and a tee-shirt if I wanted :) ) I didn't notice the sweat, though my office can be warm (82F/28C is typical). And I agree that the white balance seems to be off (despite the auto wb setting)--I should have caught that one.

Good concept and he is certainly attired in a way that is representative of many business. I'd pull back the yellow a bit as well. Good luck!

I think this could work. Good subject. But I'm not sure about the color of the light for the purpose of a stock photo. Stock photos always seem to be "perfectly" lit with studio lights and such.

The dude looks a bit sweaty. I find the reflection distracting. Also for a business Person challenge it would have been better if he was wearing a shirt and tie.

Might want to check your white balance.

However, it is well framed. I like the close up. I like the lighting and how there is a shadow on the left side of his face drawing attention to his concentration. Nice and sharp image.

Pretty good, I can see this used as stock. My only nitpick is it looks like he is sweating. Maybe some tough negotiations going on here.

Composition needs a bit of work - it just doesn't seem to have any punch. More dramatic lighting would have helped. Nice idea though.

Nice and sharp, thematically on target, suggestive, and VERY stock. well done
Only thing I might alter is his dress. It's a little too casual, IMO.
