Taken in the parking lot next to my building. This is another version of the hip shot -- I just put the camera down on a stone wall, didn't even look through the viewfinder, and shot!

Taken with the double-glass optic.

Probably a contrail but looks as though you caught a shooting star.

Ah, so a bit of serendipity was involved here. Sometimes you get the best images that way.

I'm sure it was actually called Rick O'Shay. I loved it, back when I was a fearless gunfighter. Rick was a bit light in the loafers, but Hipshot was my kinda dude.

Even your colours colors look like they are yearning to be mono, G. You shoulda been an indie film director I think. Something with subtitles.

I'm trying to remember the name of the old comic strip that had Rick O'Shay and Hipshot Percussion as characters... The latter can be your new nickname. This is an awesome shot. I'd congratulate you for your bravery in cutting off the earth and most of the buildings, except it was just random happenstance :-) Regardless, it's a very effective image. Is the underexposure in-camera or in post?
