Actually I didn't do all that terribly much PP, compared to what I usually do :-) It was underexposed, which is why it is grainy. In CS3 I ran shadow/highlight at the default values, then Color Efex Pro Tonal Contrast at the default values, then Color Efex Pro Cross Processing to get that somewhat acid look, then finally adjusted levels. I did clone some stuff out around the boat in the 'water' to start with, and I did a slight crop and rotation to get a tad more tilt in the boat. Here's the original:

And by the way, this is a tiny tiny bit of the most amazing and detailed model train display created by a friend of mine. I did some shots for a possible magazine article, and I whipped out my lensbaby at the end to grab a few shots.

Ah, the fact it IS a miniature contributes to the miniature aspect even more. LOVE the processing - like a soft watercolor. I'm betting your friend might like this one as a nice addition to the other pics you did.

Am glad you posted the original Colleen cos on first glance I thought you might have gone 'overboard' with the processing but it really isn't much different apart from you bringing it to life - brill work!

Well whatever you did it makes for great effect - I could almost believe this is a real boat.

That's pretty neat. It looks like it could really be out on the water.

Aha! It is indeed a miniature boat. You really brought this one to life from the original shot.

This is amazing. I love it. What sort of post processing did you do. This doesn't look like any of the other LB shots, because the blurred area isn't as smooth. There seems to be a lot of grain (which I like) and circular bokeh 'sparkles'. The colors are wonderful.
