I submitted this last summer at another photo site and it bombed horribly. You would think I would learn. However, I really like it. I normally don't go for the "overprocessed look" but obviously in this one I like it.

next layer -- desat 97 "erased" flowers, lips and wings
next layer -- colorize -- hue 20, saturation 81 opacity at 46
layer -- dodge hair opacity at 23
clarify 3x at full power (5)
autosaturate
layer -- multiply
"erase" fairy
reduce multiply to 84
clarify
crop
add vignette
use channel mixer to switch to monochrome
opacity set at 22
merge
soften skirt 39

So it was that The Tooth Fairy's request for a raise was turned down, and his reaction became the basis for kind-hearted ribbing from all the major mythical creatures from that day forward.

For a being that collected teeth, they said, perhaps he should smile once in awhile.

Of course, the deeper psychological issues continued to go unexplored. There were no therapists in Mythical Land.
