I just couldn't resist this shot of my youngest son Daniel. This was a great day at the river. He was chasing a butterfly, then a plane flew over.

I suspect this shot will get around a 5.8, which would be great for my average.

This is a very fine image. Worthy of more than a simple numeric score on a challenge website, that's for sure.

In a land ravaged by war and chaos, the people beyond joy and hope, in a never-ending struggle for a freedom that was no more than a dream, came a chance for redemption from a source most unlikely.

From the still waters of a sacred fount he rose. Born from the heart and tears of the very earth itself, he came. With his gaze turned skyward, and a grin to melt the very heavens themselves, he arrived. With his appearance was set in motion a string of events that would see the very world shaped along a different path. He was their salvation. He was their Hero.

And they called him Tim.

the fascination of flying and moving objects is so universal - he looks completely enthralled - i think it is a scream that he is sitting waist deep in the water but is worried about what is overhead
