Germaine, I can this series of shots from that street (am guessing its the same one we see often?) in a book in 50 years time depicting life as it used to be. Well obviously I won't be around in 50 years to see it but know I'd have loved it ;) |

The poor guy on the left has had his head swelled by the lens, it's huge! As for the shopper, she does seem like she is just peering in the window for someone, maybe she's PI and she hot on the trail of someone. |

The LB effect really does draw me to the girl in the center. |

It's interesting the way the LB made the bicyclist unimportant except as an element in the composition. The significant individual is looking in the window. But rather than window shopping, she looks like she is spying on someone in the store, and reporting to someone else by phone. :) |

I don't think she's shopping. My guess is she's a process server and is trying to serve a subpoena to the shop owner who is not answering the door and she is on her cell calling the shop saying "come on, I know you're in there, I can SEE you!" The guy on the bike is an off-duty cop who has nothing to do with anything but he is training for an upcoming bicycle marathon, but stopped for a rest because of chest pains and shortness of breath.
Then again maybe I am reading too much into it. |

I don't suppose "Double-glass optic" is a sly joke? If t'were, t'would be a good'un. |
