This was the last shot of the day from my trip to Enders Falls in Granby CT 6/29. I submitted another shot [thumb]693261[/thumb] for the June Free Study. I tried to apply some of the comments off that shot when editing this one.
PP was ridiculous. Convert from RAW, levels, curves, selective color to boost the greens, selective color again opacity 85% masked in the shadow areas to boost detail, selective color opacity 50% masked on the water to remove a yellow tint, b & w opacity 40% masked on the water, dodge and burn (thanks [user]alexzen[/user] for teaching me that dodge and burn technique, resize, usm, save for web. I was trying to get a little more pop out of the color since the original was pretty drab. |

the flow of the water is well captured - i am just not convinced on the highly saturated greens |
