| Haha, I'm not a 'troll' nor a 'rb', maybe a 'kook' (you're probably one too to get out there like you do) and, I was at least honest with my comment, too. I admire that you were out there in the water, I certainly would love to take an image inside a wave, alas not 'equipped' (yet). I like the natural colors and patterns in the water and the 'gap' and land beyond - I just wished it was more refined, as the viewer - but it is your 'image' - you do what you want. You have some good shots in your portfolio too... Mr Backlash. |

I love this photo. It's a wonderful combination of mostly colorful abstract textures with a small window of context. Also, I like the angle since it's more true to the feeling of being in a wave. I didn't expect to see this ribbon, but I'd argue that it's one of the most underrated of the challenge.

| I'll admit when I first looked at this I was puzzled. But, once I realized what it was, I thought it was impressive. I assume you had a water casing, otherwise this would have probably been your last shot of 2008, as well? |

| That looks like a tough shot to capture, to bad the curl was not open just a tiny bit more to get more perspective. |

| 3 - I doubt many will stop to analyze this enough to see what it is - if the quality was there, perhaps a rotate and crop to illustrate more what this is (and eliminate the distracting 'splotch') - the inside of a wave.. which is what I like most about it. |
