Deb, am pretty sure you wrote about this reducing the opacity on a B&W laye a smidge, guess my smidge is bigger than your as my attempts don't look like this, will try again sometime.
Looking at both images whilst they are the same they are also totally different and love them both. |

I think I'm with you with respect to the missed focusing. After buying the composer and related elements, I may just go back to the old 2.0... |

I agree, sometimes total soft blur works better than the warping of the sweet spot against the blur. But it's nice to have the option for both if you can pull it off. I struggle with it constantly... I've had the lens for almost 2 years and get frustrated. Looks like it was made for you though. |

I keep trying for shots like this, that are all about suggestion (of shape, and color, and light), but I rarely succeed. I also rarely point my camera at people and storefronts - I suppose I should work on that. |

"I think I prefer the LB shots where I totally miss focusing altogether..."
I'm leaning that way myself though I don't have many examples of my own. There's a genuine energy they put forth...duende perhaps? |

Interesting, so this is what it looks like if you put a LB on a Holga. Cool. |

I would call this masterpiece "The Woman with Skeleton Legs" ;-) |

The effect you chose works wonderfully on this! I've been in love with Color Efex Pro for months; I just broke down and got Silver Efex Pro last week -- I'm in love again :-) |

Well I like it. Focus would diminish this. Is not the person (woman?) all the more interesting, all the more loaded with possibilities, when rendered this way? This way it can be Greta Garbo if I prefer ... and I do. |

I'm not sure which processing I prefer, but I really like this image a lot. So far I haven't had any success with totally unfocused shots. I must give it a try. |

See, Julie thinks you've "mastered" it and YOU think you're hopeless and wanna give up? Gotta get loose, Deb, let happen whatever happens. Most of my "good" babies are surprises to me. That's the fun of the thing.
This one's lovely. |

this is very interesting. Love the slight hint of color in a predominantly monochromatic image. |

I recognized this as a 'Melethia' right away (before seeing who submitted it). Love the effect, and I'm so jealous how you have mastered this lens in just one day. I'm curious to know how much of this was created by the LB and how much came from the Holga filter. Of course the final image came from you, Deb, and I think it's terrific.
(edited for typos)
