Just lovely. Shame about the hair or fiber in the lower right, but since that is the biggest flaw this shot has......it is so distinct from the other enrties that this ought to ribbon.9 |

Hmmm, a spider in a flower blossom. I'd like this better if the spider were more in focus, and if the spider were alive. This one looks like it's dead and curled up. Use your macro setting if you didn't. It's obvious you really tried on this. Keep it up. 7 |

If the spider were in focus this would be incredible. |

Macro, macro, macro. Though shallow DOF is good for this purpose I think it´s overdone here. |

I like the colors you used, but IMHO the focus (or, rather, lack thereof) really ruins this shot. Having read the title, I assume that the spider is the "beast" here. Unfortunately, it is not possible to tell what the "beauty" is, or what it is supposed to be. |

What IS this? I take it the black thing is some kind of bug? So that must be the beast, right? So where's Beauty? The bug or whatever it is is mostly out of focus, and the background is confusing and doesn't support the subject. |

That little thing freaks me out. But I rally like this image. I like the warm, soft, glow of the light. The contrast between the spiders harsh lines and the pedals smooth lines really adds to the image imo. |

I can see a spider, but that's all.
I'm not even sure what an opposite of a spider is. |

Clever indeed. Like this one for its colors and the soft quality. Spiders creep me out! |

Too extreme to get a decent dof, which really spoils this for me. Sorry |

I really like the picture, but I'm having a hard time seeing the opposite other than the title! Nice though... |
