 worst case scenario...this does well enough to finish in my top 6, and I have to look at it again...
this is not really shot for this challenge, was doing a photo shoot with Adam Brazier, and he had a beard for the first half of the shoot, and was to shave half way through...sure enough being the crazed man he is he leaves the cheesy mustache for a nutcase mini-shoot break, no reason for this, it may not be too sharp as I was laughing pretty hard...lots of fun, he is a blast to work with...

Your focus is off...the focus is falling down at the open shirt and necklace. It should be on his eyes.

I read him as humorous...mainly due to that cheerio/bagel/donut pendant...and the smirk...seems like a funny guy to me...perhaps brazenly funny. And his hand, he doesn't seem to know what to do with, it's just kinda there, lending a bit of discomfort to it all.

He's got a great expression, but the thing in the upper left is a little distracting.

Hahaha, excellent. His expression does the talking. The face could be a bit sharper though. It seems like the necklace and the shirt collar are the sharpest parts of this image.
