Cabezon Peak, NM - taken on Zia Indian country - Cabezon is beyond the res and not on indian land. The moon was settling in, wish it were full, and lower; a plane left a vapor trail.

I relate to what you were going for in this shot until my eye hits the 'dash'. I would have cropped it.

The sky gradient is somewhat posterized. And, it would have been easy to clone out the contrail. I do like the scene and the half moon.

A shooting star AND the moon! How lucky are YOU! Don't know if the tones work for me though.
