this picture is one of the most evocative captures I have ever experianced. I love the idea and the title. The picture is perfect.

Ewwwwwwwww! I bet you seen a lot of those this past week, if not, sorry. I used to be a smoker and even then I was always grossed out by the ashes and butts of the cigs and now you mixe the toothpaste in, ick! ;)

Anyway, the shot meets the challenge, fresh minty breath vs. stale stinky breath. As for the shot, it's not appealing overall, maybe if you went with the toothbrush, toothpaste and a whole cig? Or even just a couple of them and didn't mix them it might have more overall appeal. The lighting seems fine but the contrast seems off just a bit to me. Started with a 3 but will raise to a 5

This is a pretty ugly subject and idea. I like the photo technically. The focus and DOF are very good. The background color is a good contrast to the rest of the image. Unfortunately, the photo leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth...

You've succeeded in getting a visceral reaction from me! The colors and saturation are really great. The composition and set-up has me missing a little bit of the identity of the toothbrush because of the way it's pointed. But the textures really sell this one.

Remove the tooth brush and set it up again. It should do better in the habits challenge

Interesting yet completely disgusting LOL. It sends a message to be sure, but I am unsure if I want to continue to look at it. Only a 6 from me
