Working my way from 60th up to first in the previous Ansel Adams challenge, stopping to comment on a very few. I do like this one and I also like hahn23's comment. This is in my opinion definitely in the style of even if the subject is not AA. Wonderful sky. |

This is the most underrated image from this challenge.
It's gorgeous. I was one of your 10's.
Love it.

Beautiful image. My favorite for the challenge. Onr minor issue--there appears to be some color in the water (pinkish)! |

I like this. Might like it even if the girl was not there. |

If AA had ever decided to place people in his landscape images, this is how he would have done it. Amazing tones and great composition. Your masterful processing and BW conversion of this image earns it my top score 10 and is my favorite in this challenge. Beautiful and eye-pleasing image. |

After all the snowy picture i've seen I thought this too, was frozen tundra, which made me think wow! Then I realized it was sand and probably quite warm.
The model's posture is a little awkward as if she's snagged her dress. Maybe she should be staring wistfully into the distance?
Overall it has a great sense of space and atmosphere and would be best appreciated blown up to a big scale.
(Sorry for rambling on - I'm a bit bored this afternoon) 8 |
