 Spent 3 hours hiking the Sandias and took 200+ images with my new 50D. I did not get what I was hoping for and this tree ended up being the best of the bunch - at least to me. Temps here at 5300 feet elevation are in the lower 50s, but going up to the summit (another 5000 feet) means trudging through snow dodging skiers LOL I shall return to the summit via tram (the easy way) in springtime.
