 I DID NOT DO A LOT TO THIS IMAGE BLACK AND WHITE CONVERSION, DODGE AND BURNED HERE AND THERE. ANSEL ADAMS MADE HIS IMAGES LOOK SO EASY BUT IT TOOK ME 3 DAYS OF TRAVELING THROUGH HIS OLD STOMPING GROUNDS TO GET SOMETHING I THOUGHT WOLD BE WORTHY OF THIS CHALLENGE.

I like the B&W conversion on this. What I think could be stronger is the composition of the foreground, so that it isn't split in half.

The leading line is good, but it seems to break the image into two parts rather than bring you into it. Maybe using a bit different angle to have the line not split the image would have improved it.
