 Not very happy with this as even a vague attempt, just ran out of time, and this was taken moments before the light disappeared on the last evening before this was due. 2 kms up the road was where I wanted to take a photo, but light was disappearing, and I wanted to get an entry in.

Reb Bluff in Melbourne, Aus, taken from Mentone. Am I trying to draw on some local landscape traditions to tie in with an Adams style...as if I'm that organised, or that capable.

Taken with the D40. My biggest problem, except for the light was a strong south westerly that made getting a decent shot difficult, and also the hordes of people on the beach, given it was 40 degs (centigrade!) today.

It's a peaceful shot but I think inverting the lights with the darks would have worked better personally.

The bottom is a bit dark to me. I would have liked to see a bit more detail in the pier.
