| Great photo. Very good tones/shadows in the rose and good detail in the wood. I think this would have been the best of the rose/wood photos in the AA challenge if you had entered it. |

| That's not a bad attempt at all :-) You have very nice luminosity in the rose and good detail working in the darker parts of the wood. He did make images similar to this, though they are not as well known. |
