| The rendering of tones here is excellent, as is the overall sense of sharpness and detail. The lighting is a bit on the anemic side, and the composition fairly lackluster, so overall the image doesn't have the "Oh, wow!" factor that the best few of these entries have. Still, you've captured very well the *technical* qualities of a decent "Ansel"; this is one of the better-rendered of the snow scenes, given what you had to work with. |
