| This is a nice shot with a good mood. I can't actually tell if it's snow / ice / water, I suspect it is frozen water with snow on top, either way, that doesn't really matter too much. The blown out sun has ended up being a strange shape, but what can you do, shooting with the sun in the frame is always a touch unpredictable. My only other complaint is that there isn't really any detail in the dark areas, but this is made up for in a way by the detail in the clouds. 6 |

| This is a nicely controlled exposure. The banks of the lake draw you into the center of the image. Well thought out. |

| Very powerful, emotional shot. A bit overblown on the sun, but nice soft shadows on the snow. |
