My kind of shot! Let not the marks discourage you. This kind of shot is exactly the reason I vote challenges in the first place! And good on you for not getting hit by a car, too. :-) |

PostLuminous Award WINNER!
Keep following your "quirky path"!! I guess the arrows point the way pretty clearly :-)
I love this image independent of any challenge theme--and it has a classic sort of Get Your Kicks On Route 66 feel to it. |

Hahaha! Been working my way down from first to last place in this challenge, and this is the first picture since about no. 50 that's really caught my eye. It's a great find in it's own right, but you also managed to make the best use of the available elements (the arrow on the road) to make the picture as photograpically interesting and esthetically pleasing as possible considering the mundaneness of the location. Agree with everyone else that this should've scored much higher, preferably above a lot of the tree-with-sunset pictures. |

I'm totally with Bear. This was one of my half-dozen 9's (my top score) |

Hrmmm... I can understand this not placing, of course, but 135th? For an image that's amusing, a little thought-provoking, and represents a unique take on the challenge that is unarguably MEETING the challenge? Pffft! |

I gave this a 7. I love this scene! Great to have both arrows kind of pointing out the tree too. |

Oh, HO! This is beyond terrific, in the context of the challenge! Photographically it's nothing to write home about, of course, but its banal *ordinariness* is the major component of its startling impact, if that makes any sense at all. I'd LOVE to see this image ribbon, though I have scant hope it will. |

its not the best photo in the world but it made me LMAO (every time I looked at it). For me personally this is what photography is about, capturing the moment or the quirkiness of life. I love it and I hope it ribbons. |
