I took this at the end of December,on a little trip to get gas. We get it out of town because it is cheaper, and good gas. This has already been put in December Wotever.
The kangaroos were a fair distance away and this has been cropped fairly heavily.

Cool! Wild kangaroos! Nice the way you have them in the upper third and the clumps of grass add some foreground interest. I guess they must be really shy. :)

So weird seeing them just out and about.

The big clumps of grass balance out the shot nicely, giving it some depth despite the extra wide crop. Very cool to see this and think that it's a commonplace sight for some folks; I'd be excited out of my mind to see it!

Totally amazing to see this. I'm not familiar with how Roos live in the wild. I am guessing they are similar in many respects to a lot of herding herbivores.

I enjoy seeing the landscape of where you live- like visiting another country and having a friend there too :)

That's a nice wildlife shot. I understand about the cropping. Groups of animals spread out like this, and it makes it difficult to get a tight shot on them without leaving out the ones at the sides. The wide pan crop works nicely for this. I am surprised how they stand out in the similar colored grassland. It looks very dry there.
