Heh! Rats are darn clever little animals. What you need is a cat. A big cat. A cougar, perhaps. But do keep an eye on the dogs if you go that route. One little rat ain't a meal - it's just a snack. Love the effect of the algae - color works in this one very well. |

This is so cool on so many levels, it's hard to take everything in.
I really like the idea of the magic carpet... carpet bombing the rat maybe?
I really like the idea that this is your basic mousetrap, the design of which probably hasn't changed much in the last 150 years.... but the company has a website!
Mostly, that green algae blows me away. Be sure you take pictures of it, and use it as an overlay sometime. 8) |

This is what the mouse sees, matrix style, as he jumps back while the trap snaps close. Damn Neo mice! Chocolate smashed on the trap, then covered in peanut butter, gets them every time. |

That's cool. I get the feeling the mouse grabbed the cheese and ran into the void. |

There are enough cats around here someone may be able to help you out. |

From the thumb, I thought that this looked like a soaring magic carpet. Still kind of looks like that in the large version, maybe just a little less magical now that I know that this is algae! |

Well, sempermarine has just retired, so he may have a few handy pyrotechnics that he 'forgot' to return to the armory. I recommend the Claymore mine, personally. It's command detonated, so you get to smile a little just before you vaporize the rat. |

I could never figure out how to set those wooden traps, instead use this neat plastic one, with a "snap" that resembles the jaws...of death. Never missed a rodent yet. But I have to admit, yours is prettier in colour then mine! :O) |

It's quite psychedelic. I thought you had modified the colors, until I read your comment about the algae. I like the way the black and green create the high contrast abstract background. It is almost like an overlay. Nice image. |
