First basic editing shot I've entered in a good while--was an interesting exercise, considering how much I've been putting into PP lately.
Shot with a turkey pan beauty dish, with blue-gelled bare flash on back wall. Saturation, exposure adjustments in RAW, export to PS. Convert to Lab color, increase contrast on lightness channel, slight adjustment in "a" channel, saturation increase in "b" channel. Convert back to RGB, Several curves layers, which were eventually gotten rid of, and a vibrance layer +25. Resize, sharpen once, save. End product actually ended up looking a lot like initial RAW export.
Here's another exposure I decided against because the processing was too un-DPC and the headphones barely visible.

| I was admiring this one when I saw it come up in the challenge - it's an exceptional shot for Basic Editing. I don't think I could have come close. |
