tone down flash

The angle on this is very compelling, it gives it an abstract quality. The greens of the algae is a little distracting but I like how you captured the position of the fish.

Very cool idea, disturbing angle. Makes me feel kinda dizzy. I like the shot, but wish the focus was tighter. Good job...

I don't know what to say. I wish it was clearer.

good idea. your focus seems off, can't see a lot of detail. I think you should of waited and try to catch them closer together. maybe a different background would improve this greatly.

Not sure what I'm looking at here, except I realize it's fish. Male and female guppy? That must be it. The idea isn't bad (the male is always so colorful compared to the female) but in this picture, you have them separated too far, and that mesh thing isn't adding anything to your picture. Fish are hard to photograph; keep trying! ;-)

where is the focal point of this image?
05/14/2004 11:15:19 AM
Yes they are, I used to work in a pet store. Nice looking Guppies and fish can be so hard to capture, I know, I've been trying for 4 years. Not a bad shot overall but the mesh between them is very distracting and the lack of focus is also distracting. A 3

This photo suffers from blurriness. The background is also not very photogenic. The framing of the composition puts the two interesting elements at opposite ends of the frame and has them seperated by more of that uninteresting background. This makes it difficult for me to view the photo as a whole- it almost seems like two photos side by side (is this a double exposure?) I can see what you were trying to do in terms of opposites, but I think the execution could be better.

Meybe it's me, but I can't see what this is

What do we see here exactly ?

This has interesting subjects, but has poor shadows details and is not crisp!

Too OOF for my taste.

fish should be in focus since they are the main part of the pic... but it is very hard to do with them swimming around... good job
