 I took this photo during a walk over the weekend on the hills not far from where I grew up - that my girlfriend in the pic. It's very high up and I promise you couldn't hear a thing at times, however I hope that transmits itself enough in the photograph.

At the last minute I changed the photo to the colour version and changed the title - which I predict will not be very original amongst the entries. Oh well I think it fits this photo nicely.

Well a new highest finish for me - I'm pleased although I was secretly hoping to break the top 20. The comments will prove useful and I've learnt a couple of lessons that I can take forward into the next challenge so thanks very much for that.

Although I always appreciate very little editing, if any at all, I think this shot would have benefitted from darkening and contrasting the sky a bit more. good composition

Liked this one a lot... would have been one of my favorites if the colors had been a bit more saturated, maybe with the reds bumped up a bit. But great composition and concept!
