This is the 3rd attempt to get a good 'tree' shot over three different days. Total number of shots: 133. This last photo shoot resulted in some better ideas and moods captured. I know some may ding me because there is a portion that is blown out or that they feel the tree is not really the main subject but oh well. I am happy with the results. My only wish is that I DO wish there were no blown highlights but there are far more positives than that one negative. I love the midstride I captured along with the hand in a seeking pose. I love how the sun's rays arc out from just above the tree to radiate out. I love that the lone tree IS the main destination in this shot...of course one can interpret that there are others waiting to be had while traveling on a bike but that of course is another story;-) I do hope that most like the Maxfield Parrish 'feel' with the widescreen cinema border look. My eldest and I had ALOT of fun with this shoot and she even had fun chasing birds into one of the shots (that one will be an outtake along with one other). So this is one of the final three that were the best out of 3 different days of shooting. Enjoy!

Oh heck, it's got a bicycle in it. Looks like she has been out on her bike exploring the countryside. Well, I won't be the first person to have personal preference influence his vote some. Even without the bike, it's a very nice shot. 7 and a fave.

Breathtaking. Well composed. I almost wish there was even more undulation in the landscape, though. But still a great shot.

oh this has so many nice elements to it. the sky, the bike, the tree, the girl, the sun rays. of course, i dont exactly think 'tree' when i see it, but its still a beautiful photo

Great shot! I think personally I would have crop'd a bit more off the right side because it feels a little unbalanced to me. Still, 9!
