I thought the composition of the cactus and the river made for an interesting set of "opposites."

NeatImage, aggressive levels, unsharp mask, and curves.

Really blown out vibrant colors, I like it but you'll probably get burned for it. Nice picture over all... good job.

I like the idea of contrasting desert life with water. It's hard to make out the water in teh background because of the dof and exposure length. Great lush colors.

Very curious colors!

the colors are kind of weird

Red and green hues are contrasting hues - so that's an opposite. But, other than a difference in color, I'm not sure the differences between objects (rocks and cactus) also capture "opposite" - they seem, to me, related.

Nice picture but I think I would have cropped it a little tighter.

Very surreal effect from the water, but it looks like the cactus moved a bit during the long exposure. This would be an amazing shot if you had a sharper subject there. Seems slightly overesposed on the cactus' edge as well.

Not sure I see the opposite in this shot. If it was actual sand and I could see the water more clearly, maybe it would work better for me. As is, the background is distracting and the forground is almost too sharp. A 3

There is something about this photo that looks unnatural but I can't quite place it. Maybe it is too much brightness/contrast adjustment. The bright overexposed area on the middle cactus leaf detracts from the overall image. It looks like a finger or something is darkening/obscuring the frame at the left edge. It would probably be better if it were cropped out.

back ground looks fake. interesting.

Im not sure if the cromatic aberation can in the camera or is the result of too much saturation in post processing, but it hurts this shot. Strong idea but too jangly in the final image.

Interesting shot.
But I'm not quite sure what is opposite?

I really like the surreal colors!
