A nice set up and good sense of composition. I'd like to see a bit crisper focus and maybe a little bit truer blacks.

Why the question mark in the title? This shot doesn't hold much interest. The colors are so-so, the lines appear out of focus, and the cropping is a bit awkward (especially at the top left and right corner). Might try a top down picture to eliminate the underside of each piece.

Nice idea, but it looks out of focus. You could also have taken a bit more care placing the pieces - maybe trying different alignments within the squares

classic opposites. Though I think more of "Go" than Othello. Nice focus. Like the off-center placement...almost as if the grid keeps going forever.
