An interesting choice for the challenge. I think it would be more successful if they shoes were posed or framed a little more interesting - the judge of a shoes appropriateness for an event is not really best shown from above and the flowerpot in the left corner is a little distracting. |

Awesome idea but I would like to see a different perspective, maybe from ground level or something... |

Busy, distracting, uninteresting composition. Much of the detail is lost. |

This should have been put into a better lighting situation. |

The cropping is awkward in cutting off the boot tray. The shadow near the formal shoes, and the black thing on the left are both distracting. I'd suggest that you focus on what your subject is and find ways to highlight them rather than have competition for them. In other words, try shotting this sgain without distracting elements and maybe from a perspective that brings out the delicate features of the formal shoes vs. the clunky and dirty sneakers. It would make an interesting contrast. |

nice idea, but it lacks interest. it looks like you just went to where the shoes are kept and just snapped a picture. try different arrangements, or different perspectives, |

Looks very snapshotty, If youd taken this on your disposable camera and had the prints back from the lab I'm sure this would be in the bin pretty quicky and not framed and hung on the wall...? |
