I really thought this would be a top 20 at least. I loved the originality and great composition. I was really impressed with your shot and am really surprised this didn;t do better-Come on now--126!?!? i LOVED IT! |

My first impression is that this a pleasant image to look at. Some details:
- the border could have been a little smaller. It's not too distracting, but it could be just a bit less heavy.
- I like the suggestive band and the unmade bed in the background. It bothers me a bit that the foreground is not completely in focus: I would have liked to see the band and the glasses as sharp as the bottle.
- DOF is perfect: the bed slightly out of focus but not completely blurred makes it quite suggestive to me.
- Composition is very good, the bottle nicely balances the stems of the glasses.
- The color of the band gives a good balance to the color of the bottle and the bed, without too harsh contrasts. |

Nice composition - the story is ery compelling and the choice of putting the empty flutes into the bucket really helps to sell it. The "hot" part isn't quite as apparent (some feet in the background would have helped - it could be an empty room as it is now). Good DOF and exposure. |

Interesting idea and nice DOF. A little more ice or something cold might have helped make the opposite pop more. |

clever interpretation of the challenge. I think you could have brought out "hot" a little more with some additional props in the background (a discarded shoe or piece of clothing) but the rumpled sheets do a good job. |

Great photo, the title makes it for me. I would like to see this photo from a slightly different perspective or something, not sure what though... |

This would have made a good entry to the offscrfeen expectations challenge a while back. I like the implication, I like the contrast of cold champagne and a hot night. 10 |

Not quite. If the Gbelt had a warm or hot hue AND had the ice bucket been sweating (i.e., filled with cold ice in a hot room), then you might have captured the concept. Otherwise, a warm bucket and a cool-colored gbelt doesn't get there. |

Good composition and good entry. Improvements would be the focus point, the whole shot could be a bit more sharp, frame is a bit heavy. Still like the shot and wish you good luck. |
