This was a tough one. Not at all happy with the result. I will be please if it gets to 5.5 just to maintain my average. I really should stop leaving these until the last minute!

so far of the 2 tea kettles...I like yours better...focus is good, the color tone flows, not to mention a neat looking pot...

I think this would more successfully convey sound with some steam coming out of the vent holes.

I'm sure you'll hear this multiple times during the challenge, but it would have been nice to see the bellow of steam that we generally associate with a tea kettle whistling.

You'll probably also hear people wanting to see the spout included in the DOF, but to each their own, and clearly you wanted it presented this way or you would have shot it differently, heh. I do really like the brilliance of the handle. The shine and overall tone of the shot is quite pleasant.

To me, it'd be better if it LOOKED like it was making noise....like show the steam shooting out?

beautiful lighting/exposure and nice subtle tones. just a little hint of colors suits the subject very well
